Honda CRF300 in Bangkok is a tall, manual 300cc dual-sport, not a substitute for a scooter. You need a clutch, a higher seat and the habit of putting a foot down in stop-start traffic. That makes it the wrong bike for Sukhumvit hotel runs, narrow sois and evening restaurant hops. Take it only if you already ride this class and you want a motorcycle position for longer paved routes out of the centre.
The daily rate starts at 900 THB. The refundable cash deposit is 10,000 THB, with a passport copy rather than the original. Two helmets and a phone holder are included.
